Driver app for live load tracking

The Locate My Freight app is how a driver shares location, marks status, and sends proof of delivery from an iPhone or Android phone. It is a tracking tool, not a transportation management system.

What the driver can do

After a dispatcher assigns tracking to a load, the driver opens Locate My Freight and works from that load—not from a separate TMS login on this site.

Location
Share GPS while the load is active
Allow location access when the app asks. Tracking needs permission on the phone plus a data connection. If the map on the desktop dashboard stays blank, the first check is location permission, not a new user account.
Status
Mark arrived, departed, and in-transit
Drivers update stop activity from the load in the app. Status options follow what the company enabled for mobile tracking. A status that is not allowed for GPS will not keep the map current.
Documents
Send POD, BOL, and photos
Open the assigned load, choose the upload option, take a photo or pick a file, and submit. The file lands on that load for the dispatcher, shipper, or broker watching the dashboard.
Stops
See pickup and delivery details
The app can show load number, dispatcher contact, equipment, notes, and stop addresses. Drivers can open a stop in the phone’s map app when they need turn-by-turn directions.

Permissions the phone must allow

Location is the permission that makes the map move. Camera or photo access is only needed when the driver uploads documents. If either prompt is denied, the app cannot invent a location or attach a picture.

iPhone
Allow location for Locate My Freight
When iOS asks, choose an option that lets the app use location while tracking is on. If the prompt was dismissed, open iPhone Settings, find Locate My Freight, and turn location back on.
Android
Precise location while tracking
Grant location for the Locate My Freight app in Android settings if the first prompt was skipped. Precise location keeps the desktop ETA closer to where the truck actually is.
Still blank?
Check dispatch and interval
Confirm the load was sent with the mobile-app option, the driver opened that load, and GPS interval plus load status allow updates. Hardware is the next step if the phone will be off. See how tracking works.

Install Locate My Freight

iOS listing: Locate My Freight on the Apple App Store (ID 6745129121). Android listing: Locate My Freight on Google Play. The App Store text still calls the app a GPS tracker for TMS software; this website is the live load-tracking product from Load Manager Inc., not a TMS storefront.

A dispatcher can also send a text that includes the store links. If the app is already installed, that message opens the load instead of the store.
