The phone has to allow location for Locate My Freight, the driver has to open the assigned load, and the load has to be in a status that allows GPS. Check iPhone or Android settings for the app, confirm the cell number on the load, then retry. Hardware is the next step if the phone will be off. Guide: location permissions.

The GPS interval your company set controls how often a ping is expected while tracking is active. If permission is denied or the load status is not allowed, the interval will not draw a marker. Details: GPS update interval.

Use the driver app when the person hauling the load will keep the phone on and grant location. Use OBD-II on the truck or Oyster GPS on the trailer when the asset must report without that phone. Comparison: phone vs hardware.
