Allow location access on the driver phone

Allow location on the driver phone

Locate My Freight can only place a truck on the map if the phone grants location access. Dispatchers send the load; the driver still has to tap Allow.

What to do on iPhone

  1. Install or open Locate My Freight from the App Store.
  2. Open the load that was dispatched to that phone.
  3. When iOS asks for location, allow it while tracking is active.
  4. If the prompt was dismissed, open iPhone Settings, scroll to Locate My Freight, and turn Location on.

What to do on Android

  1. Install or open Locate My Freight on Google Play.
  2. Open the assigned load.
  3. Allow location—precise location keeps ETA closer to the real truck.
  4. If permission was denied, open Android Settings → Apps → Locate My Freight → Permissions → Location.

Still blank after permission? Confirm the load was sent with the mobile-app option, the cell number on the load matches that phone, and the load is in a status that allows GPS. Hardware is the next step if the phone will be off. See the driver app page and how tracking works.
